So this is my new website. Even more rubbish than the old one.
I'll get round to improving it at some point. But at least my thesis is here now.
I'm currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in Mathematics at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Brussels, Belgium, working with Prof. Philippe Cara.
I previously worked as a postdoc at Università degli Studi di Padova, in the Department of Management and Engineering, based in Vicenza, where I worked with Prof. Corrado Zanella and Prof. Michel Lavrauw..
I studied for my Ph.D. at the Claude Shannon Institute in University College Dublin, Ireland, from 2007-2011, under the supervision of Prof. Rod Gow. I defended my thesis in November 2011.

My research interests are wide and varied, which is a nice way of saying "I don't know what my research interests are". Linear algebra over finite fields, finite semifields, partial spreads in hermitian spaces... anything to do with rank properties of matrices over finite fields. Hence the title of my thesis. I'm slowly drifting towards Projective Geometry, despite my efforts to avoid it. It's not so bad once you get to know it. Just like myself.

Preprints will be available when I get around to it. So, probably, like, never. Till then, google it, or contact me.
